Our Role as Local Authority Building Control
Southern Building Control Partnership is the local authority Building Control service for Mole Valley, Reigate & Banstead, and Tandridge.
As part of our role, we:
- Check building plans before work starts
- Carry out site inspections while work is being built
- Provide clear advice to help you understand the Building Regulations
- Confirm when work meets the required legal standards
Our service is delivered by registered Building Control Inspectors, supported by a dedicated Business Support Team. We work closely with homeowners, builders, and developers to help projects run smoothly and meet the law.
