What You’ll Need Before You Start
You can submit your application in three ways, please select the method that works best for you:
Application Checklists
Details of what information you will need for each type of application.
When Should an Application Be Submitted to the Building Safety Regulator (BSR)?
Some higher‑risk buildings must be submitted directly to the Building Safety Regulator (BSR).
These include:
- buildings over 18 metres high, or
- buildings with 7 or more storeys and 2 or more residential units
If your project meets either of these criteria, the application must go to the BSR instead of us, the local authority.
If you are unsure, please contact us to check.
