Our Building Control Inspectors spend most of their day on site carrying out inspections. They are generally out of the office between 10:00am and 2:30pm each working day, so may not be available to take direct calls during this time.
To make sure you can still get support, we have a Duty Inspector available each working day, contactable through our Business Support Team to ensure enquiries are managed efficiently and directed to the right person.
The Duty Inspector can:
- Respond to general enquiries about the Building Regulations
- Provide high‑level information on regulatory requirements
- Help direct your enquiry appropriately
The Duty Inspector cannot replace your allocated inspector and may not be able to discuss detailed, site‑specific matters. They are available to assist with general enquiries.
