LABC Logo

LABC Warranty was launched in 2007 and provides structural warranties for developers, contractors, housing associations and self-builders where they use the Local Authority building control team. LABC Warranty works solely for LABC teams like ours.

Get a warranty quote

It is quick and easy to apply for a warranty quote. This blog explains how to apply, how long the process takes and how they calculate the quote.

When you might need a structural warranty

A structural warranty is like an insurance policy. It covers defects in the workmanship, design and materials used in the construction of a building. To sell a new build or obtain a mortgage you usually need to have a structural warranty in place before you start work.

For more information about what to look for when choosing a warranty provider you can visit LABC Warranty's website here.

Working in partnership

A network of experienced, local LABC Warranty surveyors work alongside our own team of building control surveyors. They carry out their own inspections of your project, paying particular attention to common insurance claim defects such as dpcs and roofs. They forward a report to us after each site visit and work in accordance with LABC Warranty technical standards.

Download the free LABC Warranty technical manual

More information on LABC Warranty technical standards can be found in their technical manual which is free to download here.
